Why We Like It
- It has a more forward center of gravity than the GT2 and works best for golfers with a repeatable impact location looking to maximize ball speed.
- The weight track is forward in the sole to allow the golfer to dial in the preferred center of gravity for better energy transfer and more directional control.
- A lightweight thermoformed polymer piece wraps around the crown to meet the sole on the heel and toe sides to maintain Titleist’s preferred sound and feel.
- The lightweight crown piece saves weight so that the center of gravity is slightly forward and lower from past models for increased ball speed and less spin.
- A slightly raised rear section and smoother lines and curves from crown to sole create better aerodynamics for increased swing-speed potential.
- A new variable-thickness pattern includes a ring encircling the back perimeter of the face to maximize ball speed.

Hot List testers noted a square, balanced setup with a crisp, higher-pitched “whip” at impact and a soft-but-explosive feel. Center strikes felt trampoline-like, yielding high launch, often lower spin, tight dispersion and consistently strong ball speeds. Adjustable weight settings (toe/heel) tuned launch and shot shape. Visually clean and understated, the head felt stable through contact and forgiving on off-center strikes. One caveat: some testers lost distance and dispersion on significant mis-hits.
Hot List panelists observed exceptional ball speed and distance combined with strong forgiveness — misses stayed very straight and playable. Adjustable heel/toe weighting enabled shaping and freed aggressive swings, yielding higher launch, lower spin for many, and better accuracy. Consistent speed across the face and a large, deep hitting area rewarded reps and tolerated hard swings. One caveat: it takes practice to master control. Overall, a powerful, forgiving, workability-oriented driver for players seeking distance with playable misses.
Hot List testers noted a clean, minimal look hiding a lot of adjustability and weight that you feel through the swing. The club launches high with a penetrating, often ascending flight, tight dispersion and soft landings with controlled spin. Impact feels lively — a trampoline-like sweet spot that produces explosive pop while still offering clear feedback. It’s very consistent and powerful when struck center-face. One note: it’s noticeably less forgiving on mis-hits.
Hot List testers noted an exceptionally balanced setup and backswing feel that yields explosive, high-energy contact. Centered strikes launch crisply with very accurate flight; off-center hits remain comfortable and usable with only modest dispersion. Every part of the face produced strong, straightforward shots, making it a power-packed fairway finder with a satisfying crack at impact. Minor downside: rare mis-hits showed slightly more dispersion.
