Why We Like It
- The face on the long irons is made of a high-strength forged 4340M chromoly steel alloy and wraps around the sole in an L-shape to create a trampoline effect.
- A cut-through slot in the sole enhances flex for shots struck low on the face.
- Tungsten (30 to 40 grams) is positioned horizontally and low on the long irons to provide a better launch. On the middle irons, a chunkier piece rests vertically closer to the toe to improve stability on off-center strikes.
- The key to getting the weighting right is how the back wall of each iron uses alternating thick and thin sections, almost like latticework.
- The short irons (8-iron through gap wedge) eschew tungsten so that the center of gravity progresses higher with each successive loft to prevent shots from ballooning.
- By injecting the heads with a lightweight urethane foam, the thin face can still flex while unwanted sounds and vibrations are controlled.

Hot List testers noted explosive, high-launch distance — a trampoline-like, soft-faced feel that rockets the ball off the face with quiet, muted clicks; center strikes fly long, high, and true, while light shafts boost swing speed and launch. The head looks players-style, millwork feels premium, and turf interaction is smooth. Forgiveness is strong overall, though some reported a relatively small sweet spot that demands precise contact.
Hot List testers noted effortless power and a high launch — even poor shots carried well and stayed in play. Lighter shafts (even in extra‑stiff) boosted swing speed; the light clubhead still delivers strong pop and workability. The head looks like a players iron with minimal offset and a milled underside for a premium feel. Toe/heel strikes and a relatively small sweet spot can cost distance.
Hot List panelists observed a very playable, soft-faced design that feels muted at impact yet produces a pronounced trampoline effect — the ball often hangs briefly then rockets off the face with high launch and category-leading distance. Easy to hit, forgiving on many mis-hits, and good turf interaction, it also presents a clean, slick look. Center strikes reward with exceptional carry and a pleasant click. One caveat: some testers reported inconsistent spin rates that increased dispersion on occasion.
