The hot face on the putter didn't jump as I initially feared but rather it rolled easy and consistent, tight to the line, end over end, and right into the bottom of the cup. Short versus medium versus long. I had no reservations with hitting any any of those putts. Easy on the eye, distinctive in appearance. It would be a standout in your bag and on the green.
A seductive take on a batwing design that is incredibly harmonious to look at and has a nice balance through the ball. Dispersion was excellent. Just not entirely certain that the face was centered and balanced at impact consistently.
I really the monochromatic look of this putter. Having it black from the grip all the way down to the head just keeps it very simple optically, makes it easy to hone in on your alignment. I feel like it would be great for soft greens. You can make an aggressive stroke without it taking off on you.
The dotted face gives the putter an extremely soft feel, very little sound at impact. I like the clean-like matte finish.
It's a really sleek look. The two-tone shaft from matte to shiny, and it's also bent. I really like that. The face is a cool texture. The alignment is really good. It's the entire putter head length. The grip is really nice in terms of size and texture as well.
It had that tink sound that didn't let you feel that you hit it smooth or it didn't have that soft little kick.
I love the all-black look, but it feels like a knockoff of the the TaylorMade Spider, which I don't mind if it performs. But it's very firm and extremely loud; super jumpy off the face. I think it loses a little bit of distance because of that.
Although it's very edgy, the fact everything is black matte makes it subtle at address. It feels very heavy but that feels like it gives me more control or stability. I really appreciated it for short putts.
The all-black makes for an aggressive looking putter. It draws your eye to it. But it's a little on the clunky side feel-wise, and that made it difficult to get a consistent feel for distance.
I like the clean looks at address. You feel confident setting up over it.
Something about the the milling on the face, I I felt like it was coming off inconsistently, which is really disappointing because based on the look, I really wanted to like it.
Consistency of rollout was great. I intentionally hit a couple off center, but the travel distance was good and direct on my target. Smooth, quiet sounding, almost a gentle tap, but confident.
Very understated alignment aids and support, kind of a stealth mode. And stealth mode predicted the soft, subdued feel. A good roll that was consistently in the window that I was hoping it to be. There was enough weight to let you know where square is, and it allowed the stroke to flow a bit.
It's a great looking putter. It's very sleek. The skull-logo always look really cool and tough. It was very balanced and evenly distributed, and it was forgiving.
It's a little bit lighter which made it somewhat uncontrollable coming back on longer putts. I didn't really enjoy the feeling off the face. I think that it's almost a little too simple given how elaborate the design is. It's like they went a long way and then didn't finish the art project.
Distance control was good, but dispersion was everywhere. Never knew if it was slightly right or slightly left. Almost a gross feel to it. Just didn't feel solid. Center face hits felt like mis-hits. Alignment was fine, but just didn't perform to expectation.
This putter is fairly light, but it had a springiness to the face and the ball rolled well. So it was nice because you didn't feel like you had to force the ball to the hole, especially on the longer putts.
I love the matte-black finish, but the looks didn't match up with the performance. I was short on hits, a lot.
This club was amazing to look at. It's a beautiful all black color, which I really enjoyed. I was really excited to hit because of that, and that just kinda flowed through the entire session with the club. The alignment assist was very helpful, gave me a lot of control to hit the ball exactly where I was aiming and really felt good.
Even when I didn't hit dead center, it still rolled similarly to good strikes even though it felt a little woody. However, it did compensate for your misses.
It took several strokes to get the pace down, It hindered my thoughts that it just didn't pop the way it felt it should. I had to gas it a little bit more to get it there. It just lacked that power, where other putters, it doesn't take much.
It feels brick-like off the face. If you're used to softer, this is a firmer feeling putter. You can hear it audibly. It's a little bit louder. It does have a nice alignment feature on top with the one line down the back.
The diamond pattern does get the ball rolling pretty quickly on impact. It's pretty heavy, and I think that probably helps me keep the the club where I need it on short putts.
It performed really well on short putts. It's definitely very easy to keep on line. On longer putts, it's really hard to get the speed down. It was consistent in terms of how far the putt was going, but I just couldn't get it to go 25 feet, no matter how hard I hit it. Dead off the face, no matter what you do.
The overall look is so sleek. I have so much fine detail feel in my hands because of the shaft that they put in it and the milling on the face. It's a good-feeling putter.
Clean, modern. Easy. to line up. It sounded like something was not struck well even if I hit the center face. It was very inconsistent.
I like the the black look and the compact head shape. It's kind of a matted finish, so it's not too shiny in the sun. The only thing I would improve upon would be filling in the top black line with white, just to give it a little more contrast. Performance wise, it was a little too inconsistent for me. I just couldn't get it consistently on line. It was either just a little bit left, a little right, a little short, a little long.
First impression, I love the all-black look. Very sleek. Doesn't come off the face as hot, so you'd have to get used to the distance where maybe you have to hit it a little harder.
There was a very automatic, inherent trust between what I was doing with my body and translating that into the club. Felt firmer but the ball rolled softly and smoothly and was very predictable. Simple, repeatable. If I wanted to hit it a little bit harder, it translated with actually moving a little bit more, so it wasn't like I had to force it. I didn't have to create it.
I enjoyed the matte black finish on the top. It made it easy to align the ball, especially the contrast between white and black. Off the face, it was a good thump. I could understand when it was in the center and when it wasn't. That's helpful.
I struggled with distance control with this putter. It was either too long or too short, but rarely just right. I found myself instead of point and shoot, having to steer the putter and just never got comfortable with it.
Interesting part about this putter is it has a toe bias. It causes you to potentially bring the toe around at strike and cause a pull. The weight dispersion is such that it doesn't build a lot of confidence at address because of how the putter sits on the ground. Strike is relatively consistent and maintains a roll well.
