    Why We Like It

    • Evnroll putters feature the first significant change to their grooved face technology, compressing and changing the grooves from parallel lines to parabolic curves to improve consistent contact.
    • The new face treatment packs the grooves closer together as rows of wavy lines to reduce surface contact with the ball.
    • The new grooves and slightly thicker face design create a softer feel.
    • The groove depth throughout has been cut in half to create a higher resiliency, or what’s known as reducing “dwell time” of the ball on the face of the putter, for a faster initial roll.
    • Wider grooves in the center narrow toward the heel and toe. This helps heel and toe hits work their way back toward the target line.
    • More tightly compressed grooves also mean less chance of putts starting off target by catching the edge of a dimple on the ball.
    • Models: ER2. Head weights: 360, 375, 390 grams. Lengths: 33, 34, 35, 38 inches. Loft: 2 degrees

    COMMENT SUMMARY

Hot List panelists observed a very well-balanced, stable head that starts putts on line and produces pure, consistent roll. The wide, boxy profile with two topline dots simplifies alignment and centering. Wave-milled/grooved face yields soft, controlled distance and strong mis-hit forgiveness; heavier perimeter weights add notable stability. One consistent drawback: a tinny, high‑pitched impact sound.

    COMMENT SUMMARY

Hot List panelists observed the putter sits square at address and is very easy to align thanks to two subtle top dots that frame the ball. Its hybrid mallet‑blade shape produced consistent, on‑line roll and reliable distance control; the grooved face promoted true roll. Many testers said they'd game it for the results. One common drawback: a tinny, high‑pitched impact sound.

    COMMENT SUMMARY

Hot List panelists observed excellent balance and a boxy, wide profile with dual alignment dots that make setup simple. The wave-milled face/insert yields a very soft, pure roll and precise distance control, especially on center strikes, with tight dispersion on longer putts. Finish and contrasting colors drew praise. Perceived weight varied—some found it lightweight, others liked a heavier, stable feel—so a little distance adjustment may be needed. One downside: the face can produce a high-pitched, metallic sound.

    COMMENT SUMMARY

Hot List testers noted a well-balanced, heavy-headed design (sole weights to the edge) that delivers a square, stable impact and very even roll. The soft face offers crisp feel and strong distance control, especially on short–medium putts, while the subtle two-dot alignment aid and wider, deep head aid aim and forgiveness — mis-hits often tracked and dropped. Overall accuracy and consistency produced more made putts. One drawback: some found the tone high-pitched or hollow at impact.
