Better for me on full swings than greenside. Produced a slightly higher flight with a clean, crisp sound. Distance control was trickier, and it stuck in the sand at times. Worked better for longer bunker shots than high, soft ones.
Mis-hits were rare. Sounded like a satisfying slap at impact. Incredible in the sand, almost automatic. You can splash it out easily and control both height and distance. Very confident bunker performer.
Smooth, comfortable, and predictable through turf and ball. Plenty of height with good spin. Greenside clipping felt effortless and enjoyable. Handled bunkers softly and cleanly.
Consistent mid-height ball flight on full swings. Cut through every lie without hesitation. In the bunker, you get that crisp “zip” sound you want. Just steady, predictable performance across conditions.
Notably less spin around the greens, which forced more bump-and-runs instead of playing to the hole and checking it. The performance shift was obvious. Still playable, but not for someone who relies on greenside spin.
The clubhead naturally released through the shot — you never had to force it. Felt utilitarian, like a reliable C-student: nothing great, nothing terrible. Very steady but not particularly lively.
Love the full-face grooves that inspire confidence. Outstanding in the sand, cutting through cleanly and powerfully. Just trucks through without digging.
No glaring weaknesses, but it truly shines out of the sand and around the green. Tons of spin and the ability to throw a bunker shot past the hole and pull it back a couple feet.
Feel is firmer and clunkier than the softer Cleveland wedges of the past. But the high-toe design around the green is phenomenal. Tight lies, bunkers, anything needing serious spin — this is the club.
A solid, heavy club that drives down through the ball with authority. Feedback is deep and muted. Performs very nicely through sand with minimal effort. Around the green it's steady but not standout.
Felt like it fit the hands perfectly, almost like a tailored glove. Strikes were solid and targets were easy to hit. Spin was very controllable. Around the green it gave helpful forgiveness, and it handled sand confidently. Very intuitive club.
Around the green it needed more touch; felt like it stuck in the turf at times. Maybe operator error, but other wedges pop the ball up and release more naturally for me. This one just didn’t give the same easy lift.
Spin and spin control define this club. Very consistent off the face with an easy-to-read trajectory. The head weighting means you don’t need much effort to produce the numbers you want. Dependable, predictable spinner.
Full swings occasionally jumped, which isn’t what you want from a wedge when precision matters. Sand interaction was exceptional, with the bounce gliding beautifully to produce plenty of spin.
Less forgiving than most, but when you strike it clean the spin is outrageous. Easy to flight high or low. Very spinny out of the traps, letting you fly it right to the hole and stop it quickly. A shot-maker’s wedge.
Precision is the word — full and partial shots both locked into their windows. Cut through turf aggressively and produced a fast-spinning, zippy landing. More spin than I normally prefer, but the feel was buttery.
Full swings had a lively, electric feel, but that same jumpiness showed up in the short game. The ball came off hotter than expected, leading to more rollout.
Full swings had a little extra pop and produced great height. Around the green the dispersion widened, though the bite on the ball was excellent. Turf interaction was smooth, but bunker shots were tougher — the club didn’t glide through sand as easily.
Could generate as much spin as I wanted, sometimes too much and came up short. High, soaring wedge shots with surprising energy at impact. Really lively feel. Great for players who love adding spin on command.
A legitimate bunker wizard. You can place it right behind the ball and create as much spin as you want. Move the ball slightly forward or back and you instantly change rollout.
Full-face grooves give maximum surface area and real confidence when opening the blade. Cuts through sand cleanly without digging. Solid on full shots and gets down into the turf nicely.
Great all-around wedge with a slightly heavier face that encourages a committed full swing. Crisp feel around the greens with tons of spin on landing. In the bunker it slid through both firm and fluffy sand with ease. Always finished with strong stopping power.
Packs a punch on full swings, climbing high yet easy to flight down. Bunker shots felt pillowy and effortless. Pure strikes were incredibly satisfying and consistently tight to the pin. High or low, it’s versatile everywhere and especially confident around the green.
Heavier feel but without affecting face control. Above-average ball-striking distance with easy workability both directions. Muted sound at impact. Just a steady, slightly weighty wedge.
Where many wedges excel in one area, this one performs across the board. Forgiving in the bunker, controllable around the green, and accurate on full-swing approaches. A true all-phase wedge. Very balanced.
A really good all-around utility wedge with a clean, modern-traditional look. Full swings were functional and consistent—nothing flashy, just solid work. Greenside and sand performance were easy and predictable. Plenty of spin to hold greens without being overly aggressive. Short chips were simple to control.
Tended to dig through the turf rather than glide. Same trait appeared around the greens, though less severe. A shallow-swing player could make it work, but steep players might struggle. Not the smoothest mover.
Excellent greenside control with a ton of shot variety. Felt like I could choose my contact point and the club responded exactly how I wanted. Glides through turf effortlessly.
Really strong on full swings and surprisingly forgiving on mis-hits. If you like using different face positions, this wedge welcomes creativity. It feels built for shotmakers. Versatility is the big win.
Great turf interaction and very reliable distance control. Soft feel, clean feedback, and no surprises. It just did everything well without demanding any adjustment. A trustworthy all-around performer.
Traditional wedge with firm feel and great spin. Gap wedge offered consistent distance and the greenside spin was manageable. Felt like I could do anything with the face. Very trustworthy on a wide range of shots.
On the heavier side overall. The bounce shape caused frequent heavy strikes on both full and greenside shots. Hard to find clean contact consistently. Just didn’t match my swing.
